• Seat lock is located near utility box.
• Pull/Release seat lock (a) to remove seat from motorcycle.

• Gently lift and pull seat (a) from rear side of motorcycle.

NOTE

• Place the seat in a safe location to prevent from scratches and dirt.

Seat Latch Assembly from Frame

• The seat latch assembly (a) is fixed on frame near engine control unit (ECU).

• Gently release the cable (a) from utility box by pulling it out carefully.

• Loosen and remove 2 Nos. Hex socket screws (M6) (a) holding seat latch assembly to frame.

Side Panel LH

• Loosen and remove LH side panel fitting screw (a) at top of frame near engine control unit (ECU) (b) (below seat assembly).

• Gently slide out side panel LH (a) from frame.

Inspection

• Inspect and replace seat latch assembly if stuck or jammed.
• Inspect latch cable for free movement/broken inner strands. Replace seat latch assembly if cable is damaged.

Assembly

Side Panel LH

• Slide LH panel from bottom to fit into frame (a).

• Locate LH side panel fitting screw (a) at top of frame near engine control unit (ECU) (b) (below seat assembly) and tighten.
